ONE TO ONE GUITAR TUITION

Course information

The guitar lessons which take place in Livingston West Lothian, are from Beginner to Intermediate level. How much time you dedicate to practice will determine how fast you will learn to play the guitar, but it generally takes between twelve to sixteen weeks to complete the course.

I offer you expert tuition and guide you through every stage of your guitar playing. Your motivation and application, coupled with my support, can turn you into a guitarist.

I provide a patient, friendly and relaxed approach to discovering chords, scales, rhythm patterns and fingerstyles incorporating your favourite songs, as well as some tried and tested covers. There's a small amount of music/chord/scale theory involved, but the primary focus is very much on learning tunes and styles.

You can choose one to one guitar tuition or small group tuition (up to five people) should you prefer to share the fun of learning to play the guitar.

Don't worry if you don't have a guitar yet as one can be provided during your lesson. I can also offer advice on what guitar may be best suited for you when you are ready to make that purchase.

Where

The lessons are based in Deans, Livingston, West Lothian.

When

Lessons are scheduled six days a week including Sundays. Daytime and evening slots are available.

Duration

Each lesson is one hour in duration, give or take a few minutes for setting up and packing away.

Cost

All guitar lesson notes are provided free of charge as part of your course. There will also be a private area on my website where students can log in to access an online guitar tuner, course notes, practice songs to play along with, plus lots of other goodies.

Prices outlined below are based on 1 hours tuition per person.

10% discount available for prepaid block bookings of four or more lessons (see terms below).

Terms & conditions

• Guitar lessons are arranged for a set day and time.
• Guitar lessons are paid for at the end of each lesson or by block booking (10% discount applies if you pay for four or more lessons in advance).
• Please give at least 24 hours notice, by telephone or email, if you cannot attend your lesson and need to cancel..
  Cancelled lessons are limited to two per six week period, after which additional missed lessons will be charged for, irrespective of notice given. In the event of missing three or more lessons consecutively, you may lose the lesson time allocated to you and any monies paid for outstanding lessons.
• Students will not be charged for lessons cancelled or postponed by Pete.
